Hey everyone, welcome to my blog! Oh wait, I should be talking about myself in the third person… *clearing throat* Rachel was an odd soul with a silly sense of humor few truly got to see. Blah, blah blah.

So, if you happen to be the one person visiting this page that doesn’t already know me, there’s not much to say. Just know I am a Christian mom, a wife, a nurse, a diabetic with a variety of health issues I like to use as an excuse to talk about myself, and I’m someone who takes immense joy in the small things. I have two wonderful kiddos who fill my life with a blinding glorious light and test my sanity more often than I thought possible. I have a career as a home health nurse that has been more fulfilling than I knew a job could be. I have finally published my story with which I hope may help people through struggles I’ve worked through. I love, love, LOVE life and am so thankful, every day for the blessings all around us.
