
Tip #1: Protein is your friend. Enjoying a healthy dose of protein with your meals and snacks will keep your satiated for longer.
Tip #2: Avoid the sugar. Sugar, especially processed foods with high sugar content, rapidly raise your blood sugar and wear off quickly leaving you fatigued and more likely to munch.

Tip #3: Stay busy. An unoccupied mind is more likely to focus on a slight hunger twinge than a busy mind would. No one is going to waste the time baking cookies if there are other, more pressing, or more interesting tasks to be done. Perhaps find a new hobby.

Tip #4: Stay out of the kitchen. If you’re constantly staring that bag of chips in the face, you’re much more likely to succumb to it’s crunchy deliciousness.
Tip #5: Keep the junk OUT of the house. This is a particularly tricky one if you have a family who enjoys the treats and you’ve decided to let them partake. Buy the treats they love, but are less desirable to you.
