On the Run Again

It was only about eight accumulated minutes of running to forty minutes of walking, but it’s a start. It felt awkward and clunky, but it’s eight more minutes than I jogged yesterday. All progress counts no matter how small.

To get back up to my comfortable 3 mile non-stop run, I’m working my way up in increments; gradually increasing the time running before I need to walk again, but always moving. Today was about 1 minute jogging to 5 minutes walking. In a couple days I’ll try again and increase it to 2/5.
